White Cow in Salinas, 12″x16″
January 23, Salinas – We were meandering that day and came upon this lovely view, complete with cows. I love cows! We set up our easels in a shady, wide corner pull off area and enjoyed the quiet. At first the cows came closer to the fence to investigate, but then, satisfied we were not going to interrupt their day or offer any food, they slowly ambled off to deeper pastures up the hill. Alan and I were completely absorbed in this lovely process as the beautiful white cow walked into the sun. Still unsure as to why we were there, she threw one last look back in our direction. What luck to see such a lovely composition unfold in front of me.
