Description
February 6 – Although they are very different views, Alan painted my favorite painting of his at Jack’s Peak on this day. I painted a very different scene because we simply couldn’t agree on a view. In the end we were both happy with our results, even though he doesn’t quite see how lovely his Jack’s Peak painting is – pink trees, who knew that could work. He said he’d run out of the color he would normally have chosen and didn’t want to walk back up the hill. (I had the paint.) I guess artists often don’t see just how beautiful our pieces are as people tell me how much they love my Jack’s Peak painting too. Acrylic on wood panel.
