Description
February 27, Carmel – Although it was a windy day, the weather was glorious, especially considering the time of year. We set-up our easels right by the water of the lagoon and started to paint. We painted all afternoon as the sunlight turned the reeds a golden yellow. Late in the afternoon, I turned my head just in time to see a large flock of seagulls turn and flash in the sun. They turned again and became nearly invisable. I am continuously awed by what we see on our painting adventures. As we were packing up to go home, a small group of people stopped by to tell us how much they enjoyed watching us make our paintings that day. These adventures are just so much fun.
Acrylic on wood panel.
